THE FIELD SHOOT
Last summer I set out with my friends Francie Looke and Alexa Weiss to take some photos in a beautiful field at sunset. Francie, who also happens to be an incredible photographer, drove us over an hour outside of Traverse City, Michigan to a location she promised us was not going to disappoint!

As It turned out, the location she and her dad had stumbled upon during a walk days before, was a field surrounding an old barn built in the 1800s called "Werner Barn" (my last name).
Who knows if distant relatives once inhabited this magical land but we'd like to think so! Either way, it was an enchanting and laughter filled shoot, no glam, no production, just the the three of us and Atlas in the field, a tailgate dinner and not another soul in site.
Now this beautiful collection comes to life.

Thank you to Francie Looke for getting behind the lens, capturing the spirit and essence of the collection and evening. Thank you to Alexa Weiss of Euphoric Equestrian for coming out to help model the pieces and run through the field with us!
I love coming together with talented and creative women to make magic happen!
